Certify Announces NCQA Accreditation

This accreditation is a key step towards solidifying our status as the industry standard for provider credentialing for health plans.

Certify Announces NCQA Accreditation

Certify is dedicated to transforming how the US healthcare industry deals with provider data. Our goal is to reduce the cost of healthcare by streamlining access to provider data and reducing the administrative and regulatory burdens on healthcare organizations. We are excited to announce that Certify has received Accreditation from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as a Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) through June 2024. NCQA is a private, non-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. The organization is the trusted national authority on healthcare quality and accreditation, with NCQA certification considered the gold standard in healthcare quality. This Accreditation will allow Certify to work more readily with major stakeholders in healthcare, all of which follow NCQA metrics.

As we share this important milestone for the company, we want to explain in greater detail how this will enhance and expand the work we do at Certify.

What is the NCQA Credentials Verification Organization (CVO)?

The NCQA Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) provides a quality improvement framework for organizations to implement industry best practices that will help them to accurately and efficiently verify practitioner credentials. Certification involves rigorous evaluations and due diligence conducted by a team of healthcare professionals and certified experts. Based on their findings, certification is awarded by a national oversight committee of physicians who determine compliance with NCQA standards. An NCQA Certification recognizes that Certify upholds the highest standards in healthcare quality and service, ensuring consumers have access to quality care across the system.

What does this mean for our customers?

As a NCQA-certified CVO, Certify is able to provide greater quality of service, data security and care. We are thrilled to support the future of healthcare innovation by becoming the go-to source of provider data and making data easily accessible and actionable for the entire industry ecosystem. Our goal is to better serve your organization with NCQA-accredited CVO services such as delegated credentialing and payer support to enable your organization to provide higher quality care to patients.

“NCQA accreditation is a key step towards achieving our mission – building an end-to-end platform that allows plans to rely on our technology, process and people without thinking of compliance issues. We now have everything we need in our arsenal to help accomplish our goal of helping organizations with NCQA accredited CVO services, delegated CVO services, payer delegation support and audits, and more so they can focus on delivering quality care to their patients,” said Anshul Rathi, Certify CEO.
